Heat oil add the ingredients listed under 'to temper', let it splutter.Then add grated carrot.
Saute for a minute then add corn rava.
Saute for a minute.Then add boiling water and mix well.
Add salt and cook covered.
Cook until all the water is absorbed.Switch off and allow it to cool for 5 mins. Once it is hand bearable hot grease your hands with oil and start making kozhukattai shapes or even as simply balls.Pinch a small lemon sized ball.
Make cylindrical shapes and press it with your fingers to get the impression…repeat the same for the entire mixture.
Then arrange it in a steamer plate and steam it for 10 mins.
Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
