tawa pizza recipe

Tawa pizza recipe without oven, yes now you can make your favourite pizza in your stove top itself. This pizza recipe does not require yeast, no oven also isn’t that a good news?! It is very easy to make now lets get on to learn how to make stove top pizza recipe.

This pan pizza has a soft inside with crispy edges, though it doesn’t give the same texture as pizza made with oven, am sure you will not complain much.Mittu and hubby loved it so much and they didn’t find much difference at all.It was only after I revealed they knew that the pizza was made without oven, so its a win win right?! 🙂

I used my lodge iron skillet, you can even use dosa tawa but preferable use iron skillet or tawa to get crispy base and edges.I used homemade pizza sauce so the flavour was just awesome.

I wash it then heat it up, finally spread few drops of oil and rub with a cloth and keep it to avoid rusting.

Is it okay to make the pizza dough in the morning? I want to try it for early dinner for kids, but preparing dough after coming from office might make it too late ..
