Heathy chocolate muffins recipe using homemade maida.I tried these healthy chocolate muffins few months back and it was a hit at home.The muffins were a bit dense as I used homemade maida without using cornflour and also used brown sugar but still the muffins were gone in no time.
You can try plain vanilla muffins too using the same recipe.

Healthy homemade chocolate muffins recipe using homemade maida
Servings12 muffins
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup maida
- 1/4 cup wheat flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Instructions
- To a mixing bowl add maida,wheat flour and coco powder.
- Add baking powder and baking soda.Whisk well.
- In another mixing bowl add butter and sugar.
- Whisk till creamy.Add vanilla essence and mix well.
- Add little of flour mixture and little of buttermilk.
- Alternate and add.Mix it well.Preheat oven at 180 deg C.
- Mix to form a smooth creamy batter.
- Using a icecream scooper, scoop the batter and fill the muffin liners.Bake in preheated oven at 180 deg C for 15-18 mins or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the muffin comes out clean.
- Serve warm!
