Masala Idiyappam Recipe | Easy Idiyappam Varieties

Masala Idiyappam Recipe
Idiyappam is a traditional breakfast dish from Kerala cuisine.I love all idiyappam varieties either plain sevai or sweet idiyappam with sugar or lemon sevai. This masala idiyappam is one of my recent favs....Last time when we visited my sil's place she served this along with other breakfast items...And the instant I tasted this, I loved it as it had a burst of all flavours that I liked...So I got the recipe from her and recreated it in my kitchen and here is the recipe for you :)

My Notes:

  • Adding spice powders is purely your choice. If you dont want whole spices flavour then temper mustard, jeera and add sambar powder which will give a different flavour.
  • Mint leaves gives a nice twist to this masala idiyappam so dont skip it.
  • Idiyappam dries up fast so serve immediately or within an hour after cooking.
