    About Mango Watermelon Kiwi Popsicle

Mango Watermelon Kiwi Popsicle is a layered popsicle that looks attractive. Each fruit has its own flavor and color which makes this popsicle little different from others. Mango gives sweetness, watermelon gives light refreshing taste and kiwi adds mild tanginess so together it gives a great balance in taste.

This has an icy texture, similar to fruit ice made at home. Since it is made only with fruit puree, the taste feels clean and natural. Watermelon layer is very light, mango layer turns more thick and creamy, while kiwi layer gives tangy fresh taste. This combination works well during hot summer days.

The order of layers can be changed easily or quantity can be adjusted based on liking. Some people prefer more mango, while some like less kiwi as it is little sour in taste. You can add a bit honey or sugar if fruits are not sweet enough. This recipe is flexible and easy to adjust as per taste.

Mango Watermelon Kiwi Popsicle is very healthy with just fruit purees with no added sweeteners. If you are popsicle lover, I am sure you have to try this 3 layer fruit popsicles. It is a no cook version too so easy to make.

I usually make this popsicle during peak summer when fruits are easily available in the market. It takes very little effort, only the freezing time takes bit longer.

    Mango Watermelon Kiwi Popsicle Ingredients

    • Watermelon - I have used this for one layer, it gives cooling effect and light sweetness. You can remove seeds properly before blending.
    • Mango - I just used for sweetness and thick texture. Any sweet variety works well here.
    • Kiwi - I just added for tangy flavor and bright green color. You can add little sweetener if it tastes too sour.

    Expert Tips

    • Fruit - I usually taste the fruit before blending. You can add little sugar or honey depending on the sweetness of the fruits.
    • Freezing layers - I freeze each layer till firm before adding next. Try not to skip this step else it will mix and mess up the layers.
    • Blending fruits - I blend fruits smooth without adding water. Adding water may make popsicle too icy.
    • Removing popsicle - I show the mould under tap water for few seconds. It helps to remove easily.
    • Layer order - I usually start with mango as it sets faster. You can change order as you like.

    Serving and Storage

Serve them chilled, actually these popsicles should be served immediately after removing from mould. It tastes best when just taken out from freezer. Store leftover popsicles in freezer in covered container. It stays good for many days. Avoid keeping outside for long time as it melts fast.

You can use paper cups...in that case use aluminium foil to wrap and cover then insert icecream stick once it is half frozen
