Ingredients

  • ½ cup watermelon chopped roughly
  • ½ cup mangoes chopped roughly
  • 1 no kiwi fruit

Instructions

  • First take watermelon in a mixer jar and blend it well, set aside.
  • Now take kiwi fruit. Trim the edges, peel the skin then slice them.
  • Now take chopped mangoes in the mixer jar. Puree it.
  • Now take kiwi slices in mixer jar and puree it. Now all the 3 fruit purees are ready,
  • First add mango puree till ¼ of the popsicle mould, wrap with foil and freeze it for an hour.
  • The mango layer should be firm to touch now add watermelon juice. Again wrap with foil and freeze at least for 2hours.
  • Finally take kiwi puree. Add it.
  • Wrap again with foil and freeze for at least 4-6 hrs.
  • Then show the bottom part of the popsicle mould in running tap water and then remove the popsicles carefully. Serve popsicle immediately!

Notes

  • Fruit – I usually taste the fruit before blending. You can add little sugar or honey depending on the sweetness of the fruits.
  • Freezing layers – I freeze each layer till firm before adding next. Try not to skip this step else it will mix and mess up the layers.
  • Blending fruits – I blend fruits smooth without adding water. Adding water may make popsicle too icy.
  • Removing popsicle – I show the mould under tap water for few seconds. It helps to remove easily.
  • Layer order – I usually start with mango as it sets faster. You can change order as you like.
