I love trying out new cereal bar recipes.These days, I am on the lookout for some homemade munchies to pack for both the kids snackbox and thats when I saw this cheerios in a supermarket and immediately picked it up.I tried these bars and it came out so good and its obvious that this recipe find its place here 🙂
I got this pizza peel from teakore and am absolutely loving it.You can use this either as chopping board or to serve pizza or use it like food prop like how I have used here.It is made out of teak wood and is not at all bulky which is what I like the most as its so convenient to use in our day to day life.
These no bake bars are so easy to make and fits perfectly in your kids snackbars.You cna include nuts and dry fruits according to your liking too.
Peanut butter cheerios bars
Ingredients
- 3 cups cheerios
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- In a pan - add butter,brown sugar and peanut butter.
- Mix it once, then add honey.
- Heat it up for a minute until it bubbles like this.Switch off.Now take cheerios.
- Add it.Mix well until the sauce coats evenly.
- Transfer to a tray with parchment or butter paper.Level it with a spatula.
- Let it set in the fridge for 15 to 30 mins.Cut into small squares.
Notes
- Store in fridge.The bars keep well at least for a week.
