Mango Mojito is a cooling summer drink made using ripe mango puree, lemon, mint and lot of ice. It is very refreshing and feels soothing when the weather is too hot. The taste is mildly sweet with slight tang and strong mint flavor. It also keeps you hydrated during peak summer days which is really needed.

This is not a heavy mocktail loaded with syrups or soda. It is more simple and light, something you can easily make at home. This just tastes too good on hot summer days and doesn't feel heavy after drinking. You don't need any fancy equipments or ingredients to make this drink.

About Mango Mojito
Mango Mojito is just fruity version of the classic mojito drink. Here mango puree is added along with lemon and mint which gives a fresh tropical taste. The mango makes the drink naturally sweet and gives a nice color too. This drink looks very inviting when served in clear glasses.
This has slightly thick texture but still very light and refreshing. When crushed ice melts slowly, it blends nicely with mango and lemon juice. Mint adds that cooling feel which makes this drink perfect for summer. Each sip feels refreshing and very easy to drink especially on extremely hot afternoons.
There are many ways you can change this drink based on your liking. You can add soda water if you want little fizz. You can also add more lemon and less mango if you like tangy drinks more than sweet. Anyone can make this drink easily even if you are beginner in kitchen.
I usually make this when mangoes are easily available at home. It hardly takes few minutes and feels much better than packed juices.

Mango Mojito Ingredients
- Mango - I have used this for natural sweetness and flavor, you can use any sweet mango variety or even canned pulp also.
- Sugar - I have used for sweetness and to balance the lemon taste. You can add little more or less based on mango sweetness or even use honey.
- Ice cubes - I crushed them roughly and used for chilling the drink well. You can use normal ice cubes but crushed ice works better.
- Lemon wedges - These are used for muddling and extracting juice, it gives freshness and slight tang. You can replace it with lime also.
- Mint leaves - I added for flavor and cooling effect. It gives nice aroma to the drink, avoid using old or wilted leaves. I have used mint sprigs mainly for garnish and extra freshness.
- Chilled water - I add as it mix everything and makes the drink light. You can use soda water also but plain water tastes good too.
