    What is Broccoli Soup?

Broccoli Soup is made by first cooking broccoli along with butter sauteed onion, garlic blend to a fine puree and cooked with milk, cream, herbs and spices.

Broccoli is a nutrient-packed vegetable and Broccoli Soup is delightful starter or appetizer that combines taste and health benefits in a single bowl. Broccoli Soup is a popular soup choice for those who are searching for a healthy, filling and flavorful meal.

Whenever I see fresh broccoli at Pazhamudhir or Nilgiris I pick up a floret without fail. I haven't tried anything other than the usual stir fry or rarely add it along with pastas. So this time when I got it, I wanted to try a soup with it.

I love how creamy this soup this also the color is so appetizing that even kids would love it. I am happy that mittu started liking green cauliflower(broccoli in her language_ so another additional reason to buy this veggie often.

All at my home hate it. Once in a while I pick it up only for me. One time I tried chutney using it and served my family without telling it is broccoli. what a surprise.. it was over asa i served. from then, I started to buy it often. It is great to know another recipe of broccoli other than chutney.
