Paneer bhurji gravy recipe a easy and quick side dish for chapathi roti naan.It is one of the quickest side dish you can make in a jiffy.I recently tried this after getting the recipe from my cousin sister and I was like how did I miss to make this often as it gets done in few minutes when you have paneer in hand.
You can serve this as side dish for chapathi naan or even pulao and jeera rice.
Ingredients
- 1 cup paneer crumbled
- 1 medium sized big onion chopped finely
- 2 medium sized tomato chopped roughly
- 1 no green chilli(finely chopped)
- 1/2 inch ginger(finely chopped)
- 1 tsp kasoori methi crushed
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
- salt to taste
- water as needed
To temper:
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp jeera
- 1/4 inch cinnamom stick
- 1 no cloves
- 1/2 no bayleaf
Spice powders:
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 3/4 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/2 tsp jeera powder
Instructions

I used homemade paneer, crumble the paneer first and set aside.Heat pan with butter.

Add the items listed under 'to temper'.Let it splutter then add ginger and green chillies.Saute for a minute.

Add onion,saute till it turns transparent.Add tomatoes.

Saute till mushy and raw smell leaves.Add the spice powders along with salt.

Mix well cook for 2 mins then add water.Let the gravy boil for 5mins.

Add crumbled paneer and cook for few mins until it thickens slightly.Finally garnish with coriander leaves and kasoori methi, mix and switch off.

Serve hot with phulka!
