About Aloo Tikki Chole Chaat
Aloo Tikki Chole Chaat is a famous North Indian street snack made with aloo (potato) tikkis and spicy chole (chana) masala. It’s filling, wholesome, and full of flavor. It’s topped with curd, chutneys, crunchy sev, onions, and coriander. The recipe is a soft, spicy, tangy, and crunchy treat. Every spoon you dig in is a spoon full of flavor and textures.
Aloo tikki – golden, crisp potato patties – is the key ingredient of the dish. These are soft inside and taste even better when toasted in ghee. They pair well with chole cooked with basic masala until thick and flavorful. And when you layer them, they complement each other so well.
