About Protein Shake
Protein Shake is made by blending frozen banana, cocoa powder, milk, greek yogurt, honey, peanut butter and vanilla extract. It gets ready in just few minutes without much effort. This protein shake is the one that we all need to kick start the day.
This can be called as protein smoothie or shake. If you try this one I am sure you will love it so much that you end up making it so often just like me. Sometimes we are in a hurry to make breakfast and this protein shake comes to rescue at that time. If you have frozen banana in hand then this can be done in just few minutes.
In the morning hurry burry kids love to have this shake too. It is chilled, mildly sweet, tastes delicious with wholesome ingredients and it is protein rich. This shake is packed with protein also makes it filling for breakfast.
Being a South Indian it is mostly idli, dosa or upma for breakfast and it was not easy for me to convince my family to try smoothies for breakfast. But slowly they have started to adapt to this and now they just love smoothies or shakes for breakfast.

- Milk - I used regular milk. You can use soya milk or any nut based milk if you are looking for vegan alternates.
- Frozen Banana - Frozen banana makes this smoothie rich and creamy.
- Peanut Butter - Use good quality peanut butter, you can use homemade peanut butter too.
- Greek Yogurt - Greek yogurt is high in protein and is a great add on to this shake.
- Honey - I use honey or dates as sweetener. You can skip this if you want to skip sweetness.

How to make Protein Shake Step by Step
1.To a mixer add 1 medium sized frozen banana.

2.Add 1 tablespoon cocoa powder.

3.Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

4.Add 2 tablespoon honey.

5.Add 1 ½ tablespoon peanut butter.

6.Add ½ cup greek yogurt.

7.Add 1 ½ cups milk.

8.All ready to blend now.

9.Blend until smooth and creamy.

10.Pour into serving glass.

11.Serve with a sprinkle of cocoa powder.

Serve chilled!
