FAQS
1.Can I use whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose?
Yes, but the dough will be denser and less stretchy. Try mixing half whole wheat with half all-purpose for a better balance.
2.What if I don’t have instant yeast?
No worries! Use active dry yeast but dissolve it in warm water with sugar first and wait until its bubbly before mixing.
3.How long should I let the dough rise?
About 1 to 1.5 hours at room temperature, or until the dough doubles in size. Rising time may vary depending on your climate or location.
4. Can I make the dough ahead of time?
Absolutely! You can refrigerate the dough for up to 2 days. Just bring it back to room temp before shaping.
5.Why is my dough sticky or too dry?
Sticky dough means you need a bit more flour; too dry means add a splash of water. Adjust gradually for the perfect texture.
