    Fig Milkshake Ingredients

    • Figs - I have used dried figs, you can use fresh ones too if you get it readily available.
    • Milk - I have used milk and frozen milk. Frozen milk creates a rich and creamy shake without having to add ice cream.
    • Honey - adds mild sweetness that is needed for this shake.
    • Nuts - I have used pistachio and chopped figs for garnish.

    add frozen milk

    5.Add 1 teaspoon honey.

    6.Blend until smooth and creamy.

Garnish with chopped nuts, fig and serve chilled!

    Expert Tips

    • Soaking - Soaking figs is must for softening figs which helps blending to a creamy and smooth shake. You can soak figs in water or milk.
    • Sweetener - The sweetness from figs is enough for this shake also we are adding honey so it will be perfect. Incase if you prefer more sweetness you can add little more sugar or honey.
    • Blend in stages - For the smoothest result, blend the soaked figs first with a small amount of water or milk until completely smooth. Then add the remaining ingredients and blend again. This technique ensures there are no visible fig pieces in the milkshake.
    • Milk - Use Full-Fat Milk for creaminess. While any milk works well, full cream milk produces the richest and creamiest texture.
    • Add ons - You can add ½ banana for this shake to make it super healthy. Add soaked 2 cashews, 4 almonds and add it while blending.

    Serving and Storage

Serve the milkshake fresh with a topping of chopped nuts and figs. I would not recommend storing the milkshake as it is best to consume fresh. However you can chill the shake for 1-2 hours if need be.

    FAQS

Yes. You can use fresh figs if you get it but dried figs are commonly used for fig milkshake as it is readily available.
