Expert Tips
- Choosing strawberries - I use ripe strawberries for better sweetness and taste. Sour ones may need little more sugar to balance the flavor.
- Yogurt consistency - I prefer thick yogurt so popsicles come out creamy and smooth. If yogurt is thin it may turn more icy and not soft.
- Layering properly - I pour strawberry and yogurt slowly to get layers and better look. If mixed fast it may mix fully and layers will not show clearly.
- Freezing time - I keep it at least overnight for best result and proper setting. Less freezing time may not set properly and may break while demoulding.
- Removing popsicles - I run mould under water for few seconds and it helps to remove easily. It helps to remove popsicles without breaking the shape.
Serving and Storage
Serve this chilled directly from freezer for best taste and texture. This goes well as a summer dessert or even evening treat after meals. Store leftover popsicles in freezer and use within few days. Keep it covered so it do not catch other smells from freezer.
