    Jaggery Lemonade is a refreshing juice made with simple basic ingredients like lemon, jaggery and water. Jaggery lemonade is best for summer. This recipe is presented here with step by step pictures.

    We usually make lemonade using sugar just wanted to try a jaggery version of lemonade and it tasted good too…more of panakam flavour without cardamom.

    I think for this summer anything lemony will be refreshing and surprisingly even the kids enjoyed it.I just used my blender to give it a frothing and fizz effect.

    Jaggery Lemonade

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 cup jaggery
    • 2 and 1/2 cups water
    • 2 small lemon
    • few ice cubes

    Instructions

    • To a pan add jaggery add water to it.
    • Melt jaggery completely. Let it boil for 5 mins in low flame. Switch off.
    • Strain the syrup. Add it to a jug. Add chilled water to it.
    • Add lemon juice to it.
    • Add ice cubes to it. Pulse it few times, I used my electric blender to do this.
    • You can use mixie too. Pour into serving glass and serve.

    How to make Jaggery Lemonade
