Keerai Poriyal (Greens Stir Fry)

This is another healthy poriyal that can be done in a jiffy but sure the cleaning part takes time :)

3.The greens will let out water so be careful in sprinkling water.  Add a pinch of sugar to retain the green color while getting cooked.Once the greens become soft and gets cooked add coconut and switch off. Give a quick stir and transfer to serving bowl.

My Notes:
  • Adding sugar retains the green color of the veggie while getting cooked.
  • Raw coconut is of no cholestrol so I always add coconut and immediately switch it off. But if you are packing then saute the coconut for 2mins then switch off to avoid getting spoiled.
