    About Peanut Butter Milkshake

Peanut Butter Milkshake is made using just few ingredients which includes milk, peanut butter and vanilla ice cream. Whipped cream and chopped roasted peanuts make a great topping. 3 ingredients, 5 minutes and a blender is all that you need to make this delicious peanut butter milkshake.

What I love about this recipe is the simplicity and the use of just 3 main ingredients. No fancy technique, no hard to find ingredients and yes it gets done in just 5 minutes. I have tried quite a few variations and this is the one I just loved it, Not too thick not too runny perfect to drink still tastes rich and creamy.

My kids both my daughter and son are fond of peanut butter so I always make a batch and store. They love it in their toasts, PB and J sandwiches, cookies and of course licking it straight from the jar.

This is one recipe you will make again and again once you try it. Yes I have made this so many times that I am confidently saying you will just love and fall for it. You can use homemade peanut butter or store bought ones.

    Peanut Butter Milkshake Ingredients

    • Milk - Use full cream milk for best creamy shake. I always use boiled and chilled milk. You can replace milk with oats or almond or any nut milk if you are looking for vegan option.
    • Peanut Butter - I used the creamy peanut butter which is best for this shake. However you can use crunchy peanut butter which has peanut bits here and there.
    • Vanilla ice cream - Vanilla ice cream is best as it is mildly flavoured and will suit this shake.
    • Whipped cream - This is optional but gives that cafe style look. I mixed little peanut butter and whipped it.
    • Roasted peanuts - I roasted peanuts, chopped it fine to sprinkle on top.

    Expert Tips

    • Milk - Use only full cream milk. You can add ½ cup milk for a more thick shake. I usually add 1 cup for 2 cups ice cream which is perfect to drink.
    • Chill your glass - Chill your glass before pouring the shake into it. A cold serving glass keeps the shake thick and creamy longer.
    • Do not over blend - Blend just for 30-40 seconds in medium speed.
    • Thick shake - If you like your shake to be more thick and frozen pour the shake into the serving glass and freeze for 10 minutes before serving.
    • Peanut butter - Make sure to tightly pack peanut butter into the measuring cup and scoop out completely while adding to blend. You can reduce peanut butter if you want. Instead of ¼ cup you cna add 2 tablespoon if you want mild flavour.

    Serving and Storage

Peanut Butter Milkshake is best served once made. Serve it in chilled serving glass to retain chillness and thickness longer. Serve with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream and sprinkle roasted peanuts.
