    I had my last 1 cup of peanuts so thought to try this peanut chaat, its easy to make and ofcourse healthy too so do try and enjoy!

    How long you need to soak raw peanuts before boiling?

    You can soak for 4 hours before pressure cooking.

    Can you boil dry raw peanuts without soaking?

    I always soak raw peanuts atleast 3-4 hours then pressure cook for 3 whistles.But these days when I forget to soak I give extra whistles and cook in low flame, soft boiled are ready within mintues.So yes you can boil raw peanuts without soaking too.

    Is boiled peanuts healthy?

    Yes boiled peanuts are considered to be more healthy than roasted ones.

    This peanut chaat is so colorful and a burst of flavours with sweet,spice and tanginess all mixed up with soft boiled peanuts, do try this and enjoy! It doesn’t even munch your time just chop the veggies when the peanut boil and tada you peanut chaat is ready in no time.

    Peanut Chaat

    Ingredients

    To pressure cook:

    • 1 cup peanuts
    • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
    • 1.5 cups water
    • salt to taste

    To mix:

    • 1/4 cup raw onion finely chopped
    • 2 tablespoon tomatoes finely chopped
    • 3 tablespoon pomegranate
    • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon chat masala powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon amchoor powder
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves
    • salt to taste

    Instructions

    • To a pressure cooker add peanuts along with turmeric powder, salt and water.
    • Pressure cook for 4-5 whistles in low medium flame. Switch off let pressure release by itself.
    • Press to check if its cooked. Drain water and add to a mixing bowl.
    • Add all ingredients listed under 'To mix', toss it well. Serve Peanut Chaat immediately.

    • Plus or minus spice powders according to your preference.
    • You can skip amchoor powder and add garam masala instead
    • You can even add sweet and green chutney if you have it in stock.
    • Instead of using boiled peanuts,you can use roasted peanuts too.
