Expert Tips
- Dough – Knead the dough well else rolling will be difficult. Sprinkle flour if it sticks. You can use just maize flour but it sticks more while rolling so I always add little amount of maida.
- Rolling – While rolling use a plastic sheet or silicone mat so that it does not stick much.
- Cutting – Prick with fork to avoid pudding. Cut into small or medium sized triangles. Use a pizza cutter for ease.
- Frying – I used flavorless oil for deep frying. Fry in low to medium flame. Some may puff up but don’t worry it will still be crisp.
- Seasoning – I used cheese powder to replicate doritos taste. You can use other flavoring of your choice too.
Serving and Storage
Store in dry airtight container. Keeps well for about 2 weeks in room temperature. Serve as a snack with cheese sauce or salsa.
