Here comes the next lunchbox menu with : Triangle Roti, Dum Aloo and Chana Sundal. Last weekend when we were shopping I found baby potatoes the minute I saw them my mind got fixed to make a lunchbox menu with that(food bloggers mania you see….so dum aloo was fixed so whats the main dish was my next plight….As kids are always fascinated with colors and shapes my choice was triangle roti so here comes a quick lunch box menu idea.As a part of mittus school rules(atleast for KG kids), it is a must to send the snacks according to the schedule given by them for 3 days/week which includes:
Monday – Fruits / Sandwich,
Wednesday – Boiled vegetables/ Jaggery items,
Friday – Sprouts and Sundal varieties….
So the other 2 days is left to kids choice but with restrictions to avoid chips,cakes and heavy cream biscuits.This is actually a good idea – Atleast kids get motivated, learn to eat and know what is healthy and what is not.

Disclaimer : I use Tupperware/Plastic lunch cases just for photo sake as its colorful, but I pack/am planning to pack for mittu only in stainless steel containers as I feel its more safe and reliable.Also this lunchbox menu is not specific to small kids it can be packed for office goers too.

Notes
- Knead the dough the previous night itself, store in clean containers and refrigerate it. Next day morning bring the dough to room temperature then roll them.
- Be creative and make different shapes. Or you can make triangle phulka.
- You can use ghee for toasting roti.
- Try to include sundal / sprouts variety as a part of lunch / snacks.
