    What is Dry Fruits Milkshake?

Dry Fruits Milkshake is made by blending dry fruits which includes almonds, cashews, pistachios, dates, raisins along with milk and flavoring. Health, delicious and refreshing beverage to quick start the day or energize yourself throughout the day.

Dry Fruits Milkshake is packed with nutrients including iron, protein, etc. This milkshake can be had for breakfast or as a mid day beverage, best for fasting or Vrat seasons. I usually have this milkshake as a breakfast beverage and skip breakfast.

Make it vegan by using almond milk or soya milk or oats milk. Feel free to plus or minus the dry fruits as per your liking. If you like your milkshake to be more sweet add more dates and include figs too.

I have added frozen milk to give the milkshake a creamy and rich texture. You can skip it and add just milk too. If you want to make it more fancy then add a scoop of vanilla ice cream too.

This milkshake provides a good source of essential nutrients such as iron, protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. The natural sweetness from the dried fruits eliminates the need for additional sweeteners completely.

    • Cashews – I used whole cashews if using halved then use 10 cashews.
    • Almonds – Badam or Almonds are added to this milkshake for creaminess.
    • Pistachios – Pista nut is added as it lends a great flavor to this drink.
    • Saffron – Saffron is the main flavoring used here, also gives it a mild yellow tint to the shake. You can replace saffron with cardamom too.

    Expert Tips

    • Dry fruits and nuts – You can use any nuts and dry fruits of your choice. Add figs, walnuts, pine nuts, hazelnuts etc. Make sure to proportionate them with dry fruits and milk. I have used seeded dates, so de-seeded them and used. You can use pitted dates that is easily available in stores.
    • Milk – I have used regular cows milk that is boiled. You can replace regular milk with soya milk or oat milk or almond milk etc, this makes the milkshake easily vegan. You can skip frozen milk and add milk itself but if you want a frothy and creamy shake then add frozen milk helps. It gives a rich creamy texture to milkshakes.
    • Flavoring – I have used saffron but you can replace with cardamom or cinnamon or coco powder or rose essence or grated nutmeg, this is purely your choice.
    • Garnish – Garnish with chopped nuts and few strands of saffron.

    Serving & Storage

Always serve Dry Fruits Milkshake fresh. I would not suggest to store this milkshake but if you want you can store it in fridge, it keeps well for 4-6 hours.
