‘Aval’ means poha or flattened rice flakes and kozhukattai is dumplings. This poha or aval kozhukattai is easy to make, tastes delicious and healthy too. I make this often for back from school snack time as it is filling for the little tummies until dinner time.

Kozhukattai is always my favorite either sweet or savory love to munch it anytime. At times I make this aval pidi kozhukattai even for breakfast, it is quite filling too. Now lets get on straight to the recipe.

Thank you for such a good dish. I tried, it came out very well & too tasty. Better than Arisi uppa kozhukkattai. Very easy version & step by step, you explained clearly. All the above the pictures are mouth watering….. One doubt can we do this with Oats… did you tried?
