Sundal Podi Recipe as we call it is a quite essential one, it can be handy and can be used for sundal varieties and also while making vegetable curries and stir fries.As navaratri is nearing thought to post this sundal masala powder recipe.

Sundal Podi Recipe  – Ingredients

Preparation Time : 10 mins | Cooking Time : 15 mins | Makes: 1/2 cup
Recipe Category: Snacks | Recipe Cuisine: Indian

Coriander Seeds – 1/4 cup
Chana Dal – 2 tbsp
Urad Dal – 2 tbsp
Dry Red Chilli – 6 small

Sundal masala powder recipe quick video

Method:

  1. Measure and get ready with all the ingredients.Transfer all to a kadai,dry roast till golden.

  2. Cool down and transfer the roasted ingredients to a mixer jar, grind it to a powder little coarse.

Cool down and then store.

My Notes:

  • You can even add a tsp of pepper corns and jeera if you are planning to use it for vegetable curries and poriyals.
  • Adjust spice level according to your preference.
