Masala peanuts recipe spicy peanuts coated in chickpea, rice flour and deep fried.

Masala peanuts recipe with step by step pictures and video.Masala peanuts is a spicy crispy snack perfect for tea time, can be made very easily.

We always love to munch on any crunchy snacks for tea time and this perfectly fits in and we all loved it including the kids.I have tasted this masala peanuts bought from bakeries and loved it so much.

Variations:

  • The spice powders can be adjusted according to ones liking – you can even add jeera, coriander powder etc.
  • Instead of just garlic, you can even add ginger garlic paste may be 1 heaped tsp.
  • Hot oil is added to yield crisp masala peanuts.
  • I have only tried deep frying version, incase if I bake in oven will update the results and method here.
  • For haldirams style add chat masala, black pepper, dry mango powder etc along with red chilli and garam masala powders.
