    Carrot Laddu is a tasty sweet made by simmering grated carrots with ghee & sugar and shaped into balls. Carrot Ladoo is healthy with the goodness of Carrot and is relished to celebrate special occasions.

    Carrot Ladoo ready in minutes, kids will love it for sure. Mittu enjoyed this ladoo so much.I always love desserts with carrot and this laddu is sure going to my keeper recipe for any get together or sudden guests.

    Gajar ladoo will probably be everyone’s favorite.If you like you can even add coconut but I prefer skipping it to enjoy the full flavour of carrots.

    Carrot Laddu

    Carrot Laddu is a tasty sweet made by simmering grated carrots with ghee & sugar and shaped into balls. Carrot Ladoo is healthy with the goodness of Carrot and is relished to celebrate special occasions.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup tightly packed carrot grated
    • 1 tbsp melted ghee
    • 1/3 cup condensed milk
    • 1 tbsp pistachios chopped

    Instructions

    • Heat 1/2 tbsp ghee, add grated carrot and saute in low flame.
    • Keep sauteing until it shrinks and raw smell leaves. It will take at least 10 mins in low flame.
    • Now add condensed milk.
    • Keep cooking in low flame until it turns into a sticky mass.
    • Add remaining ghee and keep cooking until it forms a thick mixture. Switch off and let it warm for a while.
    • Shape them into small ladoos and dip each ladoo into the nuts mixture. Arrange them in small cupcake liners and serve. Enjoy Carrot Laddu!

    Notes

    • Make sure to sauté the carrot well before adding condensed milk
    • You can add cardamom powder for flavour, I didn't add.
    • These ladoos keeps well in room temperature for a day and for at least 3 days if refrigerated.
