    Millet Flour at home – As Diwali is nearing have planned few recipes using millet flour so first made foxtail millet flour and stored it.

    You can try the same method for making any type of millet flour.You can try with varagu,samai,kambu etc.

    Millet Flour | How to make Millet Flour

    Millet Flour is a handy, healthy ingredient made by sun drying millets and grinding to a fine powder. Millet Flour is a blissful blessing for people to celebrate in diet without adding too much of calories.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup foxtail millet

    Instructions

    • Measure thinai, rinse it well, drain water.
    • Spread on a plate and dry it completely. Transfer to mixer jar and grind to a fine powder. I grinded in batches in my small jar.
    • Sieve it, discard the coarse mixture. Transfer the flour to a clean dry container.

    Notes

    • You can roast the flour and keep in case you plan to store it for  a long time. Roast in low flame until smoke starts to come. Do not burn the flour keep roasting in low flame.

      to get the flour in singapore market and i use it to make gluten
