    Breakfast Cereal Popsicles –  I had been on the search for interesting popsicle recipes and this one caught my eye while googling.The milk and cereal popsicles looked so colorful that I wanted to try this idea but we don’t get any colorful cereal here so used what I got here.I used cornflakes and chocos for this popsicles and this turned out a big hit at home.

    My mania for popsicle moulds makes me try many new popsicles and the kids are enjoying it too 🙂

    Breakfast Cereal Popsicles

    Breakfast Cereal Popsicles are flaky, crispy dessert bars made by freezing a blend of milk, cereals, cornflakes and honey. Breakfast Cereal Popsicles are tasty surprises for the family during summer holidays and could be done without much effort.

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup cornflakes I used kellogs plain cornflakes
    • 1 cup cereal I used chocos moon & stars
    • 1 and 1/2 cups milk boiled and cooled
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence

    Instructions

    • Take cornflakes in a bowl, crush it with your hands just roughly that's enough. Set aside.
    • Measure and take your cereal.
    • Take milk and add honey to it. Add vanilla essence to it. Mix well.
    • Take your popsicle mold and add 2 tablespoon crushed cornflakes.
    • Then fill cereal till 1/2 of the mold.
    • Add milk till the rim finally sprinkle little more cornflakes. Close with lid.
    • Freeze until solid or for 8 hours.
    • Then while serving time, show the mold under running tap water or dip it in a bowl containing water. Carefully pull out the popsicles.
    • Serve Breakfast Cereal Popsicles immediately!

    Notes

    • You can use any of your favorite cereal and cornflakes.
    • Adjust sweetness according to your taste preference.
