    About Bread Rasmalai

Rasmalai is my favorite anytime and I love to finish my meal/dinner with it. Ever since I started making rabri on my own I have been trying different combinations with it. Especially on sundays after our heavy biryani lunch, I crave for some milk based desserts and on one such day made this easy bread rasmalai. They are not only easy they are guilt-free too comparatively.

The method is almost the same as making of rasmalai except that we replace the rasgullas with bread slices and enjoy the bread rasgullas in the rabri . So try this easy bread rasmalai and enjoy!

    Bread Rasmalai Ingredients

    • Bread – Use milk bread for best taste.
    • Milk – Use full cream milk for richness and to make rabri more creamy.
    • Condensed milk – This adds taste and richness to rasamalai.
    • Sugar – White granulated sugar is used.
    • Flavoring – Saffron and cardamom powder are the main flavoring here.
    • Nuts – Chopped almonds, pistachios and cashews can be used.

How to make Bread Rasmalai Step by Step

1.Take a wide heavy bottomed vessel, grease it with little ghee and add condensed milk + milk. Bring to a boil and reduce to medium flame. Expert Tips

    • Chill the rabri until serving time. Also do not pre-soak bread, just add it while serving.
    • You can even toast the bread slightly in ghee then add it to the rabri.
    • You can also 1 tablespoon milk powder for thickness and flavor.

    Serving and Storage

Bread Rasmalai is best when served chilled. Refrigerate & it keeps well for 2-3 days.
