To a pan add 1 tablespoon ghee, ¼ cup sugar, ½ cup milk, 2 tablespoon condensed milk. This is done off the stove.
Whisk well until sugar dissolves completely.
Now add 1 cup milk powder to it.
Whisk well without any lumps.
Now switch on flame and keep the pan and start cooking.
Keep stirring in low flame.
Keep stirring and it will start to thicken.
Keep mashing and cooking if it forms lumps.
When it comes together like this add 1 tablespoon ghee.
Cook until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan like this.
Roll between your fingers, if it easily forms a ball then it is perfect time to switch off.
Switch off transfer to a plate, let it become warm then mix it well once.
Grease palms, fingers with ghee first. Pinch a small portion and roll between your palms and flatten it slightly. Make a small dent in the middle.
Repeat to finish. I got 13 pedas. Now add chopped nuts and saffron in each dent.
Repeat to finish. Milk pedas are ready!
