Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk (preferably full fat milk)
  • 10-12 nos oreo biscuits
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence

Instructions

  • First chill the milk. Add the milk to a mixing bowl. Add sugar.
  • Add vanilla essence. Mix well with a spoon.
  • Take your oreo biscuits. Crush it roughly.
  • Take your popsicle mould - add crushed oreo to the mould till ¾th of the mould.
  • Now pour the milk mixture till the rim in each mould. Close with lid.
  • Freeze for 8 hrs at least.
  • Then rinse the mould under running tap water, pull out gently. Enjoy Oreo Popsicles!

Notes

  • Milk – I chill the milk before mixing. It helps in setting faster and gives better texture after freezing.
  • Do Not Powder – I have crushed the biscuits roughly and not powdered fully. Small bits give nice bite inside the popsicle.
  • Filling – You can fill only till the rim and not overflow. If overfilled it may spill while closing lid.
  • Freezing Time – I usually freeze for minimum eight hours or overnight. If not frozen fully it may break while pulling out.
  • Rinsing – I rinse the mould under running tap water, and pull the popsicle out gently.
