Ingredients

  • 1 cup mushroom around 100 gms rinsed and cleaned
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed pepper
  • 1 teaspoon mixed herbs
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves finely chopped

Instructions

  • Rinse and clean mushroom well, Slice in thin and set aside.
  • Melt butter in a pan - add garlic saute for 2 mins. Then add mushroom.
  • Saute for a minute, let it cook for a minute then saute again. It will leave out water, so cook until dry. Add pepper, mixed herbs.
  • Give a quick saute, add required salt, coriander leaves. Saute for a minute then switch off. Enjoy Garlic Mushrooms!

Notes

  • You can add herbs like thyme or oregano or mixed herbs.
  • Check for salt and add it at the last stage as mixed herbs has also salt in it. Also mushrooms when shrunk will be less in quantity so add salt accordingly.
  • If you like , you can even add a pinch of pizza seasoning with chilli flakes too.
  • Button mushrooms is preferred for this recipe. However leaf and oyster mushrooms can also be used.
  • You can serve it with toasties / scrambles eggs or have it as such like we did.
