Notes

  • Yogurt - The original recipe uses mayonnaise fully but I wanted to make a healthy alternate so used half of greek yogurt. You can use ½ cup greek yogurt also skipping mayonnaise.
  • Sweet pickle relish - If you don't have it then replace it with gherkins, cucumber and a pinch of sugar.
  • Storing and Serving - You can even make the dressing the previous day and refrigerate it and while serving just toss the other ingredients. Always serve immediately once the salad is prepared to maintain the crunch of the veggies.
  • Taste - If you prefer more on the sweeter side then add more tomato sauce.
  • Salt - The original recipe called for kosher salt, I skipped it and used normal salt.
