Ingredients

  • ½ cup split moong dal
  • 1 no green chilli
  • 1 and ½ tablespoon coconut grated
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Soak moong dal in water for 30 minutes, strain water. Add green chili, coconut, salt and mix well. If you prefer add raw mango / cucumber too. Enjoy Vada Pappu!

Notes

  • You can add grated carrot or chopped cucumber along with moong dal to make kosambari.
  • You can parboil moong dal and add it too.
  • You can have Vada Pappu as a salad on a hot summer’s day.
  • You can add chopped raw mango.
