Ghee Coffee Recipe | Bulletproof Coffee Recipe

Ghee Coffee is a simple and healthy drink made with just three things – hot water, coffee powder and ghee. It is rich, frothy and gives you a quick energy boost. The drink has become quite popular lately, especially among people who like to eat clean and follow natural food habits. The ghee gives a creamy texture and brings out the flavor of the coffee in a nice way.

Notes

  • Blend well – Just mixing with spoon not enough. Blend it using mixer or hand blender to get smooth and frothy coffee.
  • Hot water– Water should be really hot. Only then ghee will melt and mix nicely with coffee.
  • Try with decoction – Make decoction with coffee powder and hot water, then add ghee and blend. This gives a more filter coffee kind of taste.
  • Don’t skip blending – The key to creamy texture is blending. Just mixing with spoon will not give that frothy layer.
  • Drink fresh – This is not a make-ahead drink. It tastes best when fresh and hot. If left for long, it will separate.
