  • ½ cup water
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa powder

Instructions

  • Measure and take powdered sugar, add water to it.Add coco powder to it.
  • Whisk well so that there are no lumps, heat it up.Bring it to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes. Switch off.
  • Look how the consistency is smooth and silky. Cool down then store in a clean jar.
  • You can use it in room temperature for 3 days after that refrigerate it stays good for 10 days. This sauce doesn't get thick it stays the same.

Notes

  • Whisking – I whisk really well after adding cocoa powder. This helps break up any lumps so sauce comes out smooth.
  • Heating – I heat on medium flame so it does not burn. Keep stirring gently while it heats up.
  • Boiling – I bring it to gentle boil then simmer for 2 minutes only. This helps flavours blend but keep sauce liquid.
  • Consistency check – Look at the sauce while it cools down. It should pour easy from spoon, not too thick.
  • Cooling – Let it cool completely before storing in jar.
  • Sifting – I sift cocoa powder before adding to water. This prevents lumps and makes mixing easier.
