Prune energy bars recipe, no bake and easy to make.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup prunes chopped
  • 3/4 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1/4 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
Instructions
  1. Measure and add oats to a pan, dry roast for 5 mins in low flame without burning it.

  2. Now take out the prunes and chop it finely.

  3. Measure and add it to the bowl, add roasted oats.Add chopped walnuts reserving a tbsp alone.

  4. Mix it well.Now add honey.

  5. Add vanilla essence.Mix it well.Lay parchment paper to a baking tin and make it ready.

  6. Transfer the prunes mixture to it, level the top with a flat spatula.Then add walnuts.

  7. Again level it.

  8. Refrigerate for 15 mins just to get firm bars.Cut into bars and enjoy!

  9. Store in a clean container and serve as a snack!
