Ingredients

  • 1 medium sized apple chopped roughly after peeling the skin
  • 1 and 1/2 cups milk (boiled and cooled)
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 3 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoon rolled oats
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence

Instructions

  • To a mixer jar add 1 apple(skin peeled and de-seeded) along with 2 tablespoon rolled oats.
  • Add 1 and 1/4 cups milk(boiled and cooled).
  • Add 1/4 cup yogurt.
  • Add 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder along with 3 tablespoon honey.
  • Add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence.
  • Blend well until smooth and creamy.
  • Apple Smoothie is ready!
  • The consistency is creamy and slightly thick.
  • Pour into serving glass and serve!
  • Consume and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Rinse apples well and peel the skin as there might wax coating on the skin.
  • You can soak 4 almonds or cashews in milk and add it. Adding nuts makes the smoothie more creamy and thick.
  • To avoid apples from browning as soon as you cut the apples soak in water with a pinch of salt.
  • You can try other flavors like butter scotch or add peanut butter to this smoothie for a variation.
  • To make it vegan add almond or oats milk and skip yogurt.
