Green Tea Recipe

Green Tea is a nature fresh healthy drink which has a slightly more earthy flavor compared to black tea. This tea is a great alternate to the regular tea and recommended to drink without adding sugar. Let us learn to make Green Tea the right way with detailed step by step pictures and video.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon green tea powder
  • 2 cup water

Tea Bag Version

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 no tea bag

Instructions

  • Add 2 cups water to a sauce pan.
  • Let it come to a rolling boil. Switch off.
  • Add 2 teaspoon tea leaves to it.
  • Give a quick mix.
  • Give a quick mix.
  • Let it rest for 2 mins.
  • Strain the tea leaves.
  • Green Tea is ready!
  • Pour into serving glass and Serve!
  • For Tea bag version : First add 1 cup boiled water to a serving cup.
  • Add the tea bag to it.
  • Dip dip dip until the color changes.
  • Now green tea is ready to serve!
  • Add honey or sugar as per your preference. This is optional.
  • Add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon honey to tea.
  • Mix it well.
  • Green tea is ready to serve!

Notes

  • If you put the tea powder in boiling water as we do for normal tea, then it would become bitter. So add the tea powder once the water boils and switch off.
  • There are many flavours available in super markets, so pick your choice and enjoy.
