Ingredients

To cook pasta:

  • 1 and 1/2 cups pasta
  • 4 cups water
  • salt to taste
  • few drops oil

Salad dressing:

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 1.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon crushed pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • salt to taste

Vegetables:

  • 1/4 cup onion cubed
  • 1/4 cup tomatoes cubed
  • 1/4 cup capsicum cubed
  • 1/4 cup carrot cubed

Instructions

  • To begin with first add water.
  • Boil well add salt and few drops of oil.
  • Add pasta. I used wheat pasta.
  • Cook well.It takes atleast 7-10 mins to cook, depends on pasta variety too.
  • Keep an eye and keep checking.
  • Check by cutting it with a spoon.If it cuts through easily then pasta is done.Switch off.
  • Drain immediately. Rinse with cold water to prevent from further cooking. Set aside.
  • To a mixing bowl - add olive oil with mayo. You can replace mayo with hung curd too.
  • Mix it well first.
  • Add all other ingredients including herbs, salt and pepper.
  • Mix it well and set aside.
  • Add cooked pasta to a mixing bowl  along with prepared dresssing.
  • Add the vegetables.
  • Mix it well. Serve Pasta Salad fresh!

Notes

  • You can use any pasta variety you like.
  • Add more colorful veggies to make it look tempting and appetising.
  • You can add more mayo if you like it a bit more creamy.
  • Make sure to add more colorful vegetables to make it look tempting and appetising.
  • Add crunchy lettuce or cabage if you like.
  • I don't prefer much of raw tomatoes so added very less. Plus or minus ingredients as per your liking and preference.
