Sweet Aval with jaggery recipe
Sweet Aval with jaggery recipe a quick no cook version made for Gokulashtami.
- 1 cup thin poha
- 1/3 cup powdered jaggery
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1 pinch cardamom powder
- water as needed to rinse
Get ready with all your ingredients.Add poha to water.
Rinse well a couple of times and drain.I used thin poha so didn't have need to soak.
Drain water completely and add to a mixing bowl - add coconut,sugar,ghee and cardamom powder.
Mix it well.Serve immediately.
- If you use thick poha soak for 2-3 mins rinse well then use it.
- I used thin poha so by the times I rinse it became soft.
- Serve with fresh grated coconut.
- Add a pinch of salt to lift up the sweetness.
