Chapathi upma recipe
Chapathi upma recipe with leftover chapathi or roti.
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp urad dal
- few curry leaves
- 1 no green chilli
- 1 small carrot (grated)
- 1/4 cup onion (finely chopped)
Take leftover chapathis, tear them roughly like shown below.
Transfer to mixer jar and pulse it few times until you get a mixture like flakes.Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan - add the items listed under 'to temper'Let it splutter.Add chopped onion.
Saute till it shrinks then add grated carrot saute till raw smell leaves,add required salt.
Saute for 2 mins then add chapathi flakes, toss it well.Serve hot!
