Ginger Shots is a refreshing health drink made with fresh ginger, lemon juice and honey. It is served in small glasses because the taste is strong and little spicy. Many people take this in the morning as a quick immunity drink. It hardly takes few minutes to prepare but the health benefits are enormous. Recipe included with step by step pictures and video.

Ingredients
30gramsginger
2tablespoonlemon juice
1 ½tablespoonhoney
¼teaspooncrushed pepper
a pinch of salt
½cupwater
Instructions
Squeeze and extract lemon juice.
Peel the skin from ginger, chop into small pieces roughly.
To a mixer jar add 30 grams ginger along with 2 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 ½ tablespoon honey, ¼ teaspoon crushed pepper, a pinch of salt and ½ cup water.
Grind it to a puree and transfer to a strainer.
Press and extract the juice completely. Stop when it the dripping stops.
Ginger juice is ready.
Pour in shot glasses and serve.
Serve and consume immediately.

Notes
Fresh ginger – I just usually old dry ginger as it becomes too fibrous.Fresh ginger blends more easily.
Strain properly – If you want smooth shot, strain well using fine sieve. If you like strong texture you can keep little pulp.
Adjust honey – I taste after blending and then add little more honey if needed. Too much honey makes it overly sweet.
Store in small bottle – I have stored in glass bottle in fridge. Shake well before serving as ingredients may settle.
Start with small quantity – If you are new to ginger shots, start with small amount. It can feel very strong first time.
