Rocky Road Bars Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250 grams milk chocolate
  • 100 grams dark chocolate
  • 200 grams marshmallows
  • 10 digestive biscuits

Instructions

  • Break around 10 biscuits roughly and set it aside.
  • To a bowl add 200 grams marshmallows along with crushed biscuits. If your marshmallows are big chop into 2 and add it. You can buy mini marshmallows if you get it. Mix it well and set aside.
  • Mix 250 grams milk chocolate with 100 grams dark chocolate in a heat proof bowl.
  • To a sauce pan add water and boil it. Now place the bowl over the sauce pan making sure that the bowl does not touch the boiling water inside. This method id called double boiling method.
  • Start mixing when you see the chocolate starts melting.
  • Cook until the chocolate is melted completely.
  • Switch off and remove the bowl.
  • Add marshmallows and biscuits.
  • Mix it well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a 6X6 inch tray with parchment paper.
  • Set in fridge for at least 2 hours. This is after 2 hours.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut.
  • Cut into bars and serve!

Notes

  • There are many variations to this easy no bake bars - you can add chopped nuts, tutti frutti, candies, cookies etc.
  • I used a mix of milk and dark chocolate which tastes great.
  • Do not delay once the ingredients are added to chocolate - just mix it up and transfer to a tray.
  • You can even pulse the biscuits in a blender until coarse and add it.
  • If your marshmallows are big, chop them into small pieces then add it. Alternatively buy mini marshmallows.
