Gopalkala

Gopalkala is a comforting, tasty dish made by blending poha with curd, tempered spices and cucumber. Gopalkala is offered as prasad in temples and commonly made during Janmashtami. Gopalkala is pleasant surprise for the family instead of the curd rice for lunch and is relished as snack too.

  • Now add coconut, cucumber, salt and sugar.
  • Finally add curd, mix well. Add little more curd if needed to adjust the consistency.
  • Serve Gopalkala immediately with chopped cucumber.

Notes

  • My curd was very thick so I added little water.
