Quinoa cookies made with wheat flour and cooked quinoa.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 no egg
  • 1/8 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. To a mixing bowl add wheat flour, then cooked quinoa(cool it completely) along with baking powder and salt.
  2. Whisk well for even mixing and set aside.
  3. Add an egg to another mixing bowl.Add sugar to it.
  4. Add butter and vanilla essence to it.Whisk well.
  5. Now add quinoa flour mixture to it and mix with a spatula.
  6. Add choco chips and fold in.Do not overmix.
  7. I used my 1 tbsp spoon to measure even sized cookies.Scoop out using a small spoon and place it on a butter paper.Slightly flatten it.Meanwhile preheat the oven at 180 Deg C for 10 mins.Bake in preheated oven at 180 deg C for 12-15 mins until the cookies are golden.

  8. Cool down completely then store or enjoy! I loved the warm fresh out of the cookies so enjoyed a few :) and tats the main benefit of homemade goodies soo fresh and warm!
