Prunes Energy Bar

Prunes Energy Bar is a nutritious, tasty snack bar made by blending prunes, oats and nuts and cutting them to bars. Prunes Energy Bar area tasty dietary alternate to the regular breakfast and a no bake recipe that could be made in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup prunes chopped
  • 3/4 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1/4 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence

Instructions

  • Measure and add oats to a pan, dry roast for 5 mins in low flame without burning it.
  • Now take out the prunes and chop it finely.
  • Measure and add it to the bowl, add roasted oats.
  • Add chopped walnuts reserving a tablespoon alone. Mix it well.
  • Now add honey. Add vanilla essence. Mix it well.
  • Lay parchment paper to a baking tin and make it ready.
  • Transfer the prunes mixture to it, level the top with a flat spatula. Then add walnuts and level it.
  • Refrigerate for 15 mins just to get firm bars. Cut into bars and enjoy!
  • Store Prunes Energy Bar in a clean container and serve as a snack!

Notes

  • It keeps well in room temperature for 2 days after that refrigerate it.
  • You can add other dry fruits and nuts too.
