Prune energy bars recipe, no bake and easy to make.

  • 3/4 cup prunes chopped
  • 3/4 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1/4 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla essence


  • Measure and add oats to a pan, dry roast for 5 mins in low flame without burning it.
  • Now take out the prunes and chop it finely.
  • Measure and add it to the bowl, add roasted oats.Add chopped walnuts reserving a tbsp alone.
  • Mix it well.Now add honey.
  • Add vanilla essence.Mix it well.Lay parchment paper to a baking tin and make it ready.
  • Transfer the prunes mixture to it, level the top with a flat spatula.Then add walnuts.
  • Again level it.
  • Refrigerate for 15 mins just to get firm bars.Cut into bars and enjoy!
  • Store in a clean container and serve as a snack!


  • It keeps well in room temperature for 2 days after that refrigerate it.
  • You can add other dry fruits and nuts too.
