Grapes Pudding

Grapes Pudding is a yummy, silky soft dessert made by refrigerating a blend of grape juice, corn flour, sugar & flavours. Grapes Pudding is a surprise treat for the family after weekend / holiday lunch meal and soothes the heart & tummy!

Ingredients

  • 2 and 1/2 cups grapes
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon corn flour
  • 1/3 cup water
  • few drops grapovin essence

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl add the grapes rinse it well then drain water.
  • Transfer to a mixer jar and pulse it few times. Do not grind more as it might give bitter taste.
  • Strain it and extract the juice completely.
  • Add sugar, mix well until sugar is dissolved completely.
  • Add grapovin essence and mix well, set aside.
  • In a sauce pan, add corn flour. Add water to it. Mix well without any lumps, cook in low flame until it is thick.
  • Add grape juice. Keep cooking in low flame.
  • Keep cooking until it forms a thick syrup and coats the ladle. Switch off and set aside to cool for few mins .
  • Then pour into serving cups and enjoy! Refrigerate for 30 mins and enjoy!
  • Serve Grapes Pudding chilled!

Notes

  • Do not grind grapes too much , as its with seeds it might give bitter taste. I used grapes with seeds. You can use seedless grapes too.
