Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate cake
  • 1/2 cup choco chips
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 no milky bar
  • 1 tablespoon tutti frutti

Instructions

  • Take chocolate chips in a heat proof bowl and place it on a sauce pan containing water. We are going to melt the chocolate using double boiler method.
  • The chocolate should not be directly in contact with water or flame so we are placing the bowl over the sauce pan, or you can place a plate inside the sauce pan and place the bowl on it.
  • Once chocolate is melted set it aside.
  • Crumble the cake, add honey and melted chocolate. Mix well.
  • Now using a scooper, scoop out. I used my measuring spoon, we are doing this just to have all the bon bons of the same size.
  • Make small lemon sized balls, arrange in liners and refrigerate it. Take white chocolate in a heat proof bowl.
  • Melt it using double boiler method. Take a spoon of it and pour on the chilled bon bons.
  • Immediately stud tutti frutti over it so that it sticks to the chocolate. You can chill Bon Bons until serving time.

Notes

  • My chocolate cake was moist so needed only less melted chocolate,
if you cake or pudding is dry you may need more.
  • Traditionally we use Christmas pudding for making bon bons, but you can use any chocolate cake or  christmas fruit cake too.
  • I replaced golden syrup with honey.
