Saffron Milk | Kesar Milk

Saffron Milk is a flavourful, yummy drink made by infusing saffron flavours while simmering the milk. Saffron milk is very healthy and believed to have effect on the complexion of the baby for pregnant ladies. Kesar Milk can be consumed hot or chill which soothes the soul!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 10 strands saffron ~a tiny pinch

Instructions

  • After milk is boiled add sugar, then saffron.
  • Let it simmer for a good 5mins, mix well and serve with a sprinkle of few strands of saffron. Enjoy Saffron Milk!

Notes

  • You can replace sugar with other sweeteners of your choice like honey, palm sugar etc.
  • If you prefer you can add chopped nuts along with saffron.
